Dear Patients,

Have you ever wondered why acupuncture is not covered by all insurance companies in North Carolina?  The answer is two-fold.

1)  Many healthcare policy makers are not aware of the benefits acupuncture can provide.

2)  We are a small profession with limited resouces for public awareness.  There are only around 500 Licensed Acupuncturist in North Carolina.

We need your help.  Ginna & Daerr have each served as President of the NC Society of Acupuncture & East Asian Medicine (NCSAAM).  As such, numerous volunteer hours have been spent to ensure acupuncture, performed by Licensed Acupuncturists, is accessible as a safe, effective, and affordable option to all seeking healthcare services.  In particular we would like to bring increase awareness that acupuncture is an excellent non-pharmaceutical approach to pain.
