Welcome to Our Walk For Life Site!

Together we can make abortion UNNECESSARY and UNWANTED on Long Island!

Soundview is the ONLY Abortion Alternative Center to provide Medical, Evangelical, and Educational Services to women on Long Island. Together we can transform more lives and save more babies from abortion! Join the fight, and register or donate to our Walk For Life!

The goal of every Walk for Life participant is to raise $350 or more to support Soundview Pregnancy Services in its work of saving lives. Fundraising is easier than you think, and you'll be amazed at the support you receive. Three Locations!:

Living Faith Chrisstian Church, Nassau County Location:

The church will be the host site. Parking will mostly be at their admin building down the street, with some parking in front of the church. The Walk event will be held in the rear of the church.  

Blydenburg Park, Smithtown Location: 

The Walk "Trail": The trail that we walk on is a nature trail on a path through the woods with trail markers at various points. It is flat and an easy 1.5 mile walk. Perfect for kids and adults alike! 

Indian Island Park, Riverhead Location: 

The Walk event will be held on the left side of the park as you drive in. There is a covered pavillion, a parking lot, playground, and a field area. The Walk itself will be using the nature trail within the park. The trail will be marked. 

 

How Can You Help?

1. Be a Walker - Walk at either of our THREE Walk locations or in Your neighborhood! 

  • Create your own page and ask your family and friends to sponsor you. 
  • Use this flyer below to share with family and friends via Text, Email, Facebook, X/Twitter, Linkedln, etc. to get the word out.
  • Raise $350 or more, and you will receive a free Soundview gift!
  • No cash will be accepted, only checks or online payments. 
  • The deadline for prize consideration is Friday, May 16th at 8pm. But people can donate up until June 17th 2024. 
  • There will be an award ceremoney with PRIZES given in a variety of categories! For Suffolk walkers/teams and Nassau walkers/teams!

About Soundview Pregnancy Services

Long Island is home to over 12 abortion clinics as well as countless additional abortion providers. Soundview Pregnancy is the ONLY pro-life evangelical pregnancy center to offer medical and practical services to women on Long Island. Because of donors like you, women in our community are able to receive free medical services like sonograms, pregnancy testing, as well as an opportunity to receive caring support from our social workers. Our services are provided by licensed medical professionals and clinical social workers who serve with compassion, wisdom, and love. Soundview has additionally become a trusted community resource as our staff is trained to screen our patients for issues of domestic violence, human and sex trafficking, abuse, and more.

According to a study conducted by the Charlotte Lozier Institute, there were 72,548 abortions reported to have been performed on in New York in 2018. As New York continues to be a 'Sanctuary State' for abortion services up to the moment of birth, women will increasingly travel to Long Island to terminate the lives of their unborn children. Soundview Pregnancy must continue to expand our reach to these women through additional staffing, new centers, and extended hours of operation. Although, every service is provided at no cost to our clients, we cannot continue to offer abortion alternative services without the continued financial provision of our partners.

In addition to medical and clinical services, your generous support allows us to share the love of Christ with women, men, and families who come to Soundview for help. The power of God is at work, bringing healing, restoring families, removing fear, and igniting a culture of life and faith.
