I'm playing 100 holes in one day!
Cancer became personal to me when it touched people I care deeply about. Before then, I understood cancer the way many people do, as something you hear about, but hope never reaches your own world. When it did, everything felt different. I’ve seen the hospital visits, the scans, the waiting for results, the medications, the exhaustion, and the way people keep showing up even when they’re scared or overwhelmed. I’ve also seen the rides to appointments, late-night phone calls, and the kind of support that doesn’t always show on the surface.
Those experiences opened my eyes to how many families are carrying similar stories, often silently. There are people you pass every day who are sitting through treatments, caring for someone who is, or learning to live with loss, which you might never know by looking at them. That awareness has stayed with me. That's why this isn’t just another event or fundraiser for me; it matters.
On June 4th, I will be playing 100 holes in the Golf Fights Cancer 2026 New England Golf Marathon. It’s a big physical and mental challenge, but it doesn’t compare to the realities that cancer patients and their families face day in and day out. I’m doing this for the people in my life who have faced cancer, for those who are fighting right now, and for the many others who will hear the words “you have cancer” and have their world change in an instant.
My goal is to raise over $2,000. Every donation, big or small, truly makes a lasting impact. The funds support cancer-related organizations that provide research, financial assistance, patient programs, and emotional support that help lighten the burden during incredibly hard times. Your support isn’t just a number; it represents compassion, solidarity, and hope.
This cause is personal to me, and I am truly grateful for anyone willing to support. Whether that is by donating, sharing this page, or simply keeping those affected by cancer in your thoughts and prayers, I, as well as so many others, appreciate it so so so much.
Thank you for helping me turn experience into action and support into something much bigger than myself.
