Dear Family & Friends,
As many of you know, back in 2022 I had a little bout with throat, neck and thyroid cancer. Thanks to the amazing doctors at Mass Eye & Ear and Mass General Hospital, the procedures were successful and I remain cancer-free. Unfortunately there are so many out there still fighting this brutal disease and that is why I am, once again, teaming up with Golf Fights Cancer.
On June 5th, I will be participating in my 5th “100 Holes in One Day” Golf Fights Cancer Marathon—a unique fundraising event that combines "my love of golf with my desire to give back." Golfers of all skill levels play 100 holes to support cancer-related organizations.
Thanks to my amazing family and friends, over the first four years of playing in this amazing tournament I have been able to raise $63,561. I’m once again asking for your support by making a gift of any amount. My fundraising goal is $12,500, and every contribution—large or small—will make a difference.
The money I raise this year will go to One Summit and Runway for Recovery, two wonderful organizations that GFC has supported over the years.
One Summit's mission is to build resilience and facilitate growth in pediatric cancer patients and their siblings through mentorship, experiential learning, storytelling, and community engagement with US Navy SEALs.
Runway for Recovery is another amazing organization that seeks to improve the lives of those who are currently affected by breast cancer by serving as a platform for them to access the resources, knowledge, and support they need.
Thanks to events like the Golf Fights Cancer Marathon, GFC has donated $16.5 million in grants to more than 92 cancer-related charities. I am proud to be part of this effort and truly appreciate your support. Here’s a link that shows you where GFC has directed their funding over the past 20 years:
