I'm raising money for the Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk!

This year marks my family’s 6th year participating in the annual Bleeding Disorders Walk and my 3rd year serving as the NEHA Walk Chair — an honor that truly means the world to me. This walk is deeply personal, and I pour my heart into it because this community has given our family so much.

While my child’s hemophilia is very well managed today, our journey — and the journey of so many families — reminds me daily that advocacy and education can never stop. Treatments and medical advancements continue to evolve, and NEHA is the constant that keeps families informed, supported, and connected through every change.

Alongside the incredible progress we celebrate, our community still faces difficult realities — unfair insurance practices, barriers to care, and unequal access to life-saving medications. These challenges are frightening, exhausting, and very real for families who depend on these treatments to keep their children safe. That is why advocacy must never slow down.

Until we live in a world without hemophilia, I will continue to show up — for my child, for our family, and for this entire community. I am honored to serve as Walk Chair and to support NEHA as they advocate, educate, and stand beside families like ours every single day. Thank you for walking with us, supporting this cause, and helping ensure a stronger future for everyone affected by bleeding disorders.
