This September, our family will be returning and walking in the 2026 Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk with the New England Hemophilia Association. Our team, Crew’s Crew, walks for our son Crew, who was diagnosed with Severe Hemophilia A at just 9 days old.
When Crew was diagnosed, we quickly realized how important community, education, and support are for families living with bleeding disorders. Hemophilia is a lifelong condition that affects the body’s ability to form blood clots, meaning even small injuries can become serious. While treatments today allow kids like Crew to live active, happy lives, managing hemophilia still requires constant care, advocacy, and access to specialized resources.
Organizations like the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA) make an incredible difference for families like ours. They provide education, support programs, advocacy, and community connections that remind us we are not alone in this journey.
Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our friends, family, and community, Crew’s Crew raised over $6,000 for NEHA. We were truly blown away by the support. This year, we are hoping to meet—or even exceed—that goal.
Every donation helps fund programs that support individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders across New England. It also helps raise awareness so that children like Crew can grow up with better treatments, stronger support systems, and brighter futures.
Crew is already the strongest little guy we know, and we are so proud to walk in his honor ❤️
Thank you for supporting Crew’s Crew, for helping raise awareness, and for being part of Crew’s journey!
