Hi! My name is Axel and I’m 5 years old.

I was diagnosed with severe hemophilia when I was just 10 months old. Because of that, my family has been learning how to take care of me for almost my whole life.

Thanks to how far science and treatments have come, I’m able to do so many things I love! I’m on a great prophylaxis (prophy) treatment plan that helps keep me safe and active.

This year, I even started wrestling—something my family once thought might not be possible for me. But here I am, trying new things and having fun just like other kids!

I’m walking to help raise money so that research and advancements can continue. I want all kids like me to have the chance to live full, active lives.
