Please allow me to introduce you to our family - my name is Carolyn and my husband Jeff and I have two boys - Aiden (13) and Andrew (10), both with severe hemophilia A. Since we had no family history of hemophilia, we were completely shocked to learn of this initial diagnosis. The early days were filled with confusion, fear, lonliness, and grief. It wasn't until we sought support from an incredible organization, the New England Hemophilia Association, that we began to realize that life with a rare bleeding disorder could be filled with love and light. We found community, education, support, and the tools to advocate. We found family.
That is why we're so excited to come together to participate in the 2026 Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk, a fundraiser to support the bleeding disorders community! All money raised stays within our community and funds crucial advocacy, education, research, and support services. Our collective passion for this cause drives us, and we need your support to make a difference!
