I am reaching out to all my FB friends for your help.  As some of you know I currently work at ChildSafe which is a nonprofit organization.  ChildSafe is the only Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) in Bexar County.  With April being National Child Abuse Prevention month, April is also the launch of ChildSafe’s Million Dollar Campaign.  With your help you have the opportunity to help the abused and neglected children of Bexar County. 

This mission of ChildSafe is to restore dignity, hope, and trust to children traumatized by abuse and neglect. The need for our services continues to grow.  So I’m asking you to dig into your pockets, and please donate to ChildSafe.  Anything you contribute to ChildSafe will be highly appreciated.  Every dollar helps heal a child and/or family that has experienced Child Abuse or Neglect. 

There have been several horrific child abuse cases recently aired on the news.   Every single day there are children being abused and neglected that don’t make the news.  There could be a child being abused as you read this post.  So, please reach into your pockets and donate today to this meaningful cause.  A small sacrifice on you part can help an abused child.  Instead of purchasing that next cup of Starbucks coffee or that morning taco consider helping a child in need and donate that money to ChildSafe.
