Nearly everyone has been touched by cancer, through personal experience or someone they love.

With September being Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month, this "Never Alone" walk is especially timely in my personal journey. I was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer in January 2025, had a total thyroidectomy and neck dissection surgery in March 2025, and am scheduled for Radioactive Iodine (RAI) treatment September 12, 2025. 

Since I'll be isolating post-RAI and unable to participate in the public event, I've registered to do the "Self-Walk"  from home, as part of my healing journey.
