Cancer has touched my life in so many ways. I’m walking on September 14th for my family and friends who are facing cancer today, and for those who have already walked this difficult road.

I’m also walking for every Never Alone Cancer Foundation client who turns to us when there’s nowhere else to turn. Each step I take is for the people who need rides to treatment, a warm blanket when they’re in the hospital, or simply someone to sit with them so they don’t feel alone.

My fundraising goal is $250. That’s just 10 gifts of $25. Together, that can mean 10 rides to treatment, 4 care kits for people newly diagnosed, or the comfort of blankets and for clients who need them most.

This walk is more than just raising money.  It’s about showing people living with cancer that their community cares.
