Join NextHome in Supporting Canine Companions

NextHome is encouraging its members, friends, families and supporters to help raise funds to support the mission of Canine Companions!

$50,000—that’s what it takes to raise, train and place a Canine Companions service dog as well as provide the graduate team a lifetime of care and support. Yet Canine Companions provides service dogs to their clients absolutely free of charge.

Let's do better than that! Together, we can raise $50,000 to fund the development of even more service dogs that will increase independence for children, adults and veterans with disabilities.

With your help, we can unite more people with service dogs in a powerful program that leads to greater independence and confidence.

Why We Fundraise

Imagine dropping your keys and not being able to reach them. Sitting in the dark, because you can't turn on the lights. Waiting for someone to come by to open the door. Now imagine having a Canine Companions service dog to do all those tasks — and more.

Canine Companions transforms the lives of people with disabilities by providing our clients with expertly trained service dogs, free of charge. Our dogs are trained to perform practical tasks that enhance independence and reduce reliance on others. This powerful relationship leads to greater confidence and inclusion for a person with a disability.

With six training centers across the country and presence in every state, Canine Companions leads the service dog industry so our clients can live with greater independence. We are recognized worldwide for the excellence of our dogs, as well as the quality and longevity of our placements.
