We found out we were having twins in June of 2022. We were immediately filled with excitement and love for our babies. We found out at 13 weeks that our son would not survive. Liam had anencephaly, a condition where his brain and skull did not fully form. Our twins, Layla and Liam were born December 22, 2022. Liam John lived for a few minutes before passing. It is an amazing privilege to have found No Foot Too Small before I even delivered. The help and connections I have made are like no other. This community truly has helped heal me and bring me comfort in so many ways. They taught me that it is never just grief, that joy can co-exist with the grief. Events like Angels in the Outfield lets us celebrate Liam with lots of joy and love.
