What is a community fundraising event?
A community fundraising event is conducted by an individual or organization in the community with proceeds to benefit Nemours.
Who can conduct a fundraiser on behalf of Nemours?
Individuals or organizations can host an independent fundraising event to support Nemours. These can be private foundations, schools, grateful patients, families and community organizations. Anyone in the community can host an event to support the areas of greatest need or their choice of a specific program at Nemours.
Can I Decide What Nemours Program Will Benefit from My Event Proceeds?
There are many specialties, programs and services within Nemours that may be designated to receive the proceeds of your event. If you have a passion for a specific area, we can help you direct your donation there. A few examples of where your donation can help are:
- Oncology
- Cardiac Care
- Orthopedics
- Biomedical Research
- Child Life Program
- Your local Nemours facility in Delaware or Florida
- Wherever the need is greatest
