The 6 of us are a bit of an eclectic bunch. A sweet ginger fighter with magical poetry from Texas. A religion major from St Paul. A math-type from northern Minnesota. A literature lover from New York. A young philosophizing type with a journalistic future. A recovery instagrammer turned recovered advocate from the Windy City. But we all have something in common (aside from being total #babes). We all have some connection to an eating disorder. Some of us are survivors. Some of us love a survivor.
We all believe in recovery and we all know how difficult it is. That’s why we’re doing this. We all know that the Alliance saves lives - and that’s something we all believe in. Eating disorders kill. Plus, life is so much better in recovery.
Help us help other people live their lives. The Alliance provides free, therapist-led, online groups. This is a life-saving resource for so many people. Let’s do this.
