I'm participating in Junior Achievement of Washington's Get Active with JA: Virtual Run, Bike, and Walk event. Between July 26 and August 2, I will be running, walking, or biking in the name of charity!
JA’s mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. Through in-classroom and offsite opportunities, volunteers teach kindergarten-12th grade programs that foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and reach their potential. JA students develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21st-century global marketplace. Not only that, they learn to build a solid future for themselves, a skill that is important now more than ever.
