I am a Newport Rowing Club athlete and have been involved with the club since spring 2018. 

Joining NRC has been the best decision I have made.  I am proud to call NRC my second home and family.  The amazing athletes and coaches have built an environment that I could not get anywhere else.  Rowing at Newport has taught me what it takes to be hard working and dedicated.  The coaches have been working hard to keep the team connected as we would be during this current racing season.  My passion for the sport and team brings me back every season, and I hope that I can get back to work at NRC with my teammates as soon as possible.  Any donation will benefit the club and staff that are working to keep NRC running during this difficult time. 

NRC has been closed since March 13th and has continued working hard to provide stability, structure, and support for the 60 athletes and families in its programs. Our goal is to raise $13,000 which will cover just 1 month of NRC's operational costs including staff salaries. With your support NRC athletes will not only have continued structure and support from the dedicated staff now, but we will have a top-notch organization with consistent coaching staff ready to resume training in person as soon as we are able.
