I am a Newport Rowing Club athleteand have been involved with the club since 2018. Newport Rowing Club is important to me because I have learned not only how to row, but how to persevere as an athlete and how to be a committed team member.
NRC has been closed since March 13th and has continued working hard to provide stability, structure, and support for the 60 athletes and families in its programs. Our goal is to raise $13,000 which will cover just 1 month of NRC's operational costs including staff salaries. With your support NRC athletes will not only have continued structure and support from the dedicated staff now, but we will have a top-notch organization with consistent coaching staff ready to resume training in person as soon as we are able.
