The mission of the New Trier Educational Foundation is to provide private funding for exceptional educational opportunities and special projects that are not funded – or are funded only in part – by the District 203 budget.
Although the District seeks to maintain the quality of education that is the hallmark of New Trier, it often lacks sufficient funds or the legal authority to provide funding for all special programs and initiatives that enhance the New Trier educational experience. The role of the Foundation is to assist the District in raising the necessary funds, which will allow the implementation of these programs or projects.
