About me!
After going through some very difficult behavioral struggles with my youngest son, we were referred to neurodevelopmental specialists. Unfortunately, after multiple calls and multiple emails, I was never called back. As behaviours increased, we were left with a choice: Wait to see if the neurodevelopmental team would call us back, or pay for behavioral testing out of pocket. We luckily had the resources to do so, but even the diagnosis process took almost four months. In those months, my youngest was having social, behavioral, and spatial issues.
In January of 2025, Connor was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. We were able to get him into ABA therapy and he is now thriving!! I am hoping to raise funds, to help with those that don't have the resources that we had to pay for testing out of pocket.

Edit your story. In this text box, you can delete all of this wording and tell donors about why you are running the 2025 NYC Marathon. I suggest dragging an image from your files directly into the content box. Sometimes the “insert image” button can be hard to use.
