I'm so excited to be running the NYC Marathon for Team Tisch again this year. As many of you know, my grandmother Cynthia has been one of Dr. Sadiq's patients at the Tisch MS Research Center for over a decade, so it is truly special to have the opportunity to raise money for this incredible organization. I've committed to raise $3000, or $115/mile over 26.2 miles, in support of the Tisch Center's mission to find the cause and cure of Multiple Sclerosis. These funds go directly towards investigations into the cause of MS, biomarker research aimed at developing precise diagnostic and predictive tools to bring the disease under the control of treating neurologists, and novel regenerative strategies for repairing the damage done by the disease in patients who are unresponsive to standard treatments.
