Daniel DiSano is an accomplished entrepreneur and technology and growth executive with a track record in building highly successful companies. He has been President and CEO of Axispoint since June 2002.
Under Mr. DiSano’s leadership, Axispoint, a top-tier digital transformation and software development company, has experienced significant organic growth and has rapidly become the trusted technology partner to some of the world’s most recognizable brands. Axispoint recently launched RyteBox (www.rytebox.com), a game changing Rights Management and Royalty Processing SaaS Platform for the global music industry. In 2017, Axispoint acquired T2 Computing/Tekserve, a leading production media and managed services provider to top content companies. Axispoint has achieved numerous accolades, including: eight Inc. 5000 awards; three Deloitte Technology Fast 500 awards; seven Solution Provider 500 awards; four CRN Fast Growth 100 awards; four TechElite 250 awards; Crain’s Fast 50 award; and two E&Y Entrepreneur Finalist awards.
Mr. DiSano co-founded Marked Private and its brand enCappture with his wife, Denise DiSano. enCappture is democratizing mobile apps with its SaaS platform that provides branded mobile applications to companies, organizations, and influencers (athletes, musicians, celebrities) in a few weeks time. This innovative platform enables brands to directly engage with their audiences, know their customers, save significant development and maintenance cost, and vastly increase time to market.
Prior to Axispoint, Mr. DiSano served as an officer at HQ Global Workplaces, the world's leading provider of serviced offices. Mr. DiSano helped grow the start-up to over $600 million in sales in less than four years, expanding the business to over 500 locations in 26 countries. Regus purchased HQ and is now the global leader in serviced offices and is publicly traded on the London Stock Exchange. Prior to HQ, Mr. DiSano was Senior Vice President of Operations at FrontLine Capital Group, a technology-related operating and venture capital firm, serving as interim CEO and Board Director for FrontLine companies. Mr. DiSano assisted in raising over $500 million in capital across multiple entities; helped roll-up the serviced offices industry; and designed, implemented and integrated several successful organizations.
Mr. DiSano has years of management and technology consulting experience with Booz•Allen & Hamilton and Charles River Associates. At Booz Allen & Hamilton, he focused on growth initiatives in agriculture, biotech, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. At Charles River Associates, in addition to his consulting work, Mr. DiSano managed over 40 executives in Boston and Washington DC.
Mr. DiSano earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and received the prestigious Martin Trust Fellowship award for academic and service excellence. He was valedictorian at Clark University.
Mr. DiSano was invited by President Barack Obama to join the President’s TMT (Technology, Media and Telecom) Committee where he assisted in writing technology policy. Following the election, he was asked to serve on the President’s Transition Team as a member of TIGR (Technology, Innovation and Government Reform) Committee, where he lent his leadership and experience to help with Stimulus, Government Innovation, and Pervasive Broadband. Mr. DiSano was also asked by the Clinton Foundation to be one of President Clinton’s inaugural business mentors in his Entrepreneur Mentoring Program, where he helped significantly grow a partner company. Mr. DiSano is Past Chairman of YPO (Young President’s Organization) Metro New York, the largest and founding chapter, and Past Board Member of YPO’s IT Network and YPO Big Apple. YPO is a strong networking group of 33,000 CEOs worldwide. Mr. DiSano is also a member of the prestigious Chief Executives Organization.
