MIST New York x Islamic Relief USA

Once again, MIST is partnering with Islamic Relief USA to bring to you the "Humanitarian Service Competition". 

This is essentially a contest of marketing, creativity, and the ability to spread the word for a humanitarian campaign. Each team will make a crowdfunding page that can take donations for the cause of their choice from Islamic Relief's program options, but that's just the start. The real competition, is which team can make the best marketing campaign around their page. What will YOU do with the same information everyone has? How will you customize your page the best and also have the best digital and real-life campaign to bring awareness to your campaign? Feel free to make videos, ads, posters, text your friends and family, go all out. 

What's incredible about this partnership is that the money you raise as part of your efforts in this competition will go directly toward Islamic Relief's efforts in bringing life-saving aid around the world or here at home. The stakes couldn't be higher.

The countries and programs we’re focused on this year are:

International:

1. Syrian Refugee Projects (Jordan, Lebanon, Tukey)

2. Somalia Projects

3. Rohingya Refugee Projects (Bangladesh & Myanmar) 

4. Afghanistan Projects

5. Tunisia Projects

Domestic:

1. USA Humanitarian Disaster and Emergency  Response Projects (DRT)

2. USA Hunger and Food Related Programs
