Help us keep the helpless and hopeless safe by making a small donation

No one should go to sleep wondering how they will live through the next day

Daily life

The Rohingya Refugee Crisis refers to the forced displacement of Muslim Myanmar Nationals by a campaign of targeted, military violence.

They Need YOUR Help

In the Rakhine State, Rohingya Muslims were subjected to unspeakable atrocities. Entire villages were burned to the ground. Men were dragged out of their homes and shot. Women were gang-raped in front of their families. Cries of young children had filled these villages, helplessness, and fear coursing through everyone’s veins.

They sought shelter in the refugee camps located in Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh, which is now deemed as the world’s largest refugee camp. Although they aren’t being killed or abused on spot, these camps are not havens as well. People live in congested, unhygienic shelters, where the spread of diseases is prevalent. They have the minimum access to basic necessities, such as food and healthcare. However, they are extremely vulnerable and deprived, left to natural elements, and highly dependent on aid.

What we are aiming to accomplish is helping them get access to these basic necessities such as food, water, clothing, and shelter. Together with MIST, our goal is to raise the bare minimum of $100 and to go even further than that so that the helpless can once again have hope.

Did you know that 1 in 5 children in Rohingya are living poverty? Or that nearly half of all Rohingya live paycheck to paycheck?

Homelessness, hunger, poverty, lack of clean water access, sanitation, and health care aren’t just international problems. They exist right here at home in our neighborhoods.

And when disaster strikes, the need for urgent aid and support grows exponentially.

Islamic Relief’s Dedication to Serving Rohingya in Need

As Islam teaches us, charity starts at home, and that’s why Islamic Relief is dedicated to supporting work across Rohingya that makes sure families have shelter, kids have food, and disaster survivors and refugees get the support they need.
