They Need YOUR Help
In the Rakhine State, Rohingya Muslims were subjected to unspeakable atrocities. Entire villages were burned to the ground. Men were dragged out of their homes and shot. Women were gang-raped in front of their families. Cries of young children had filled these villages, helplessness, and fear coursing through everyone’s veins.
They sought shelter in the refugee camps located in Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh, which is now deemed as the world’s largest refugee camp. Although they aren’t being killed or abused on spot, these camps are not havens as well. People live in congested, unhygienic shelters, where the spread of diseases is prevalent. They have the minimum access to basic necessities, such as food and healthcare. However, they are extremely vulnerable and deprived, left to natural elements, and highly dependent on aid.
What we are aiming to accomplish is helping them get access to these basic necessities such as food, water, clothing, and shelter. Together with MIST, our goal is to raise the bare minimum of $100 and to go even further than that so that the helpless can once again have hope.
