Junior Achievement's (JA) mission is to inpire and prepare young eople to succeed in a global economy. The inspiration piece comes from community volunteers who not only deliver our lessons, but share their experience. In the process, these volunteers serve as role models helping to positively impact young people's perceptions about the importance of education, as well as critical life skills. Preparation involves our proven lessons that promote financial capability, work and career readiness, and business ownership.
JA does not charge for their programs in public schools. Rather, funds are generated through individuals, companies, civic organizations, foundation grants, and special fundraising events. The OKC Play 4 JA Sports Bowl is our largest peer to peer fundraising event of the year. We need your help in reaching our goal in order to provide quality JA programs!
