32nd Annual Mullet Festival

The Annual Mullet Festival is the primary fundraiser for the Optimist Club of Perdido Bay and it is slated for Monday, September 3, 2018.  Now in its 32nd year, the event has the added distinction of helping our community participate in the 200th Bicentennial Celebration of the founding of Alabama as a state.  

The event features a 5K race, 1K fun run or walk, the Mullet Toss, children's area with bounce houses and more, plus vendors and entertainment.  We forgot to mention that the event also features great food.  

6:a.m. Registration Opens  
           Packet Pick-up             
6:30    Vendor Set- up             

7 a.m. Breakfast (till 9 am $4 per person & Kids 8 & under eat free... Sausage, Biscuits & Gravy, Pancakes, fruit, drinks.

7:15    Colors-Presented By          American Legion Post 8        

7:30.   5 K Run - Start

7:45    Fun Run & Walk

8 am   Runner Party  8-10am Refreshments-Water, oranges & bananas (Adult Beverages inside Lillian Community Center)  

 9 a.m. Vendors Are to be set-up

Award Ceremony (Lillian Community Club)  

9:30 a.m.  Kids Area Bounce  Houses,Games  till 2 pm       

10 a.m. Mullet Toss-ends at 12 noon  

10 a.m.  Silent Auction - concludes at 2 pm  

 11 a.m.  Entertainment - concludes at 3 p.m.

2 p.m.   Lunch ends - Silent Auction Closes             

3 p.m.   Final Remarks Including Silent Auction & Give-aways
