It's our favorite time of year- time to raise money for Daystar Counseling Ministries! As many of you know, Daystar has held our hands and healed our hearts in so many ways. They are a critical part of our family's story of hope and healing. Each October, we get so excited to give back to an organization who has so generously given to us. 

Part of Daystar's magic is that they never turn a family away because of their inability to pay. As a family of a single mom and three kids, we never could have afforded individual counseling, group counseling, and Hopetown summer retreats without the generosity of donors like you. Thankfully, Daystar works on a sliding scale and is determined to make Christian counseling accessible to every child and family who needs it. 

As a family, we are committed to raising $4000 to support Daystar because we know and believe in the power of mental health. Anyone who has interacted with the Daystar family knows the sincerity of the warmth, depth, and kindness there. Their impact is felt far beyond the four walls of "the little yellow house that helps people."
