Christmas. One word can paint so many vivid images tied to warm memories of making cookies and cocoa for Santa or caroling through neighborhoods adorned in brilliant lights or unwrapping beautiful gifts underneath an elegant tree with our loved ones.

Sadly, for some, the realities of the holidays are anything but a Hallmark movie. Pace Center for Girls opens her doors to one of the most vulnerable populations imaginable; teenage girls who are trauma survivors of stories you would wince to hear. For them, holidays remind them of the family they do not have, of the relative who violated their trust and innocence, of the gifts they cannot even afford the luxury to dream of much less receive.

But you can change that narrative. Your tax-deductible donation will remind students who feel invisible that they are seen; students who battle depression and despair daily that there are still some good-hearted people in this world who not only see them, but care about their well-being.
