I have decided to play a role in helping Oklahoma Parkinson’s families by creating a team for the Parkinson Foundation of Oklahoma’s Rally Walk & 5K. This event is the state’s largest event to raise awareness and money to support Oklahoma Parkinson’s families!
I am running this event in honor of my Mother-in-Law Barbara Meyers. She suffered from Parkinson Disease for 14 years before ultimately losing her battle. I want to use my gift of running to raise awareness (and funding) to help Oklahomans and their families better cope with the daily struggles this disease brings.
