In August of 2018 I received a diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease. I had probably been suffering the symptoms for about six years or so and just could not figure out what was wrong until then. Parkinson's is more than a tremor, it's more than an inconvenience. Parkinson's is a nuerodegenerative, progressive, incurable brain disease. No part of your life is unaffected by the impact of this disease. Family and friends bear the burden as well.
People with Parkinson's and their families rely on the support, information and education offered by the Parkinson's Foundation of Oklahoma. While we are all working together for a cure, the information and services provided by PFO to people like myself are invaluable. One day, Parkinson's will be a disease of the past, until then we need your help.
