The men of the Kappa Alpha Order – Alpha Chapter proudly contribute to Washington & Lee and the Lexington community in a variety of ways.  A few of the ways we do this include representing W&L on 6 athletic teams, coaching youth sports, and having members in the Williams Investment Society, Real Estate Society, and Mock Convention.  While we enjoy helping our community, we realize our contributions and sacrifice pale to those made by our veterans.  Realizing this, our chapter has decided to give back to those who have given so much to others.  We have decided to team up with the Independence Fund and fundraise for their Independence at Home initiative.  Contributing to Independence at Home will assist veterans and their families who are struggling because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Last year, Independence at Home helped veterans in a variety of ways including providing veterans with food and medical supplies and assisting with mortgage payments.  We hope you will assist us in reaching our goal of $7,500.  Any contribution, large or small, will directly improve the life of a veteran and their family.  Thank you for your support.
