Mercer: 

This year, Kappa Chapter of the Kappa Alpha Order is fundraising for the Independence Fund which focuses on "empowering our nation's severely wounded, injured, or ill Veterans to overcome physical, mental, and emotional wounds incurred in the line of duty." Every cent of this fundraiser will be going toward funding a track chair for one of our nation's disabled soldiers. The technology present in these track chairs is revolutionary for these Veterans and their families. With this, along with our work with our national philanthropy in MDA, we are committed to showing that fraternity gentlemen, specifically Lee's definition of such, can still be held in a good light. Therefore, a small donation from you can go a long way for both our nation's injured heroes and toward preserving Lee's ideal gentleman in today's KAs.
