I was diagnosed in 2018 although I had experienced symptoms long before and just didn't know I had Parkinson's Disease (PD). PD is like an iceberg; the symptoms people see are just the tip. Most of the symptoms (and the more sinister symptoms) are below the surface where no one can see them. This fight is hard and it is no fun, but the only option we have is to fight. The Parkinson's Foundation of Oklahoma provides tools and services to help people with PD and their families live well and independantly for as long as possible.
