Dear Coastside Business Friends,

In 2023, a team of people came together to launch a new school—Our Lady of the Pillar Academy.
Out of love for our community, and from their own resources, they are investing in the future of children
from families outside of their own. We believe that our neighborhood needs such a school as this, to
provide children with happiness that enables them to love learning, with a strong sense of identity,
and with critical thinking skills to help them get to the root of who they are and how to address life's
complexities. Please support us, if you can.

On March 22, 2025, we are throwing an inaugural Gala Auction, to benefit tuition assistance for one-third
of our student body. Our Gala also honors Mr. and Mrs. Ed and Linda Wilkinson who have pioneered
Half Moon Bay education in both our school and the Wilkinson School, for over 40 years. We are asking
local businesses to donate gifts that we could package and auction o. Please consider donating
gifts-in-kind or services to our auction. In return, we will encourage our families to become your patrons.
Donations to our charitable 501c3 are also tax deductible, and we will issue you a tax receipt.
