One Creek: 4 Paws

Beavercreek City Schools is bringing all 11 school buildings together for its 2026–27 service learning project: One Creek: 4 Paws.

Through fundraising, volunteering, and advocacy, students, staff, families, and community members are putting learning into action to support 4 Paws for Ability, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to placing service dogs with children and veterans with disabilities.

About 4 Paws for Ability: Founded in Xenia, Ohio, 4 Paws for Ability provides highly trained service dogs that help individuals with disabilities gain greater independence, safety, and quality of life. Through its work with families and communities around the world, the organization demonstrates the powerful difference that service, compassion, and partnership can make.

Why We Serve: This districtwide effort gives students authentic opportunities to practice the qualities emphasized in the district's GO CREEK Portrait of a Learner.

Our Collective Goal: While each of the 11 buildings may find its own unique ways to serve, our goal is shared: to come together as one Beavercreek community in support of an organization making a life-changing impact.

One Creek: 4 Paws will be a year of compassion, collaboration, and action—reminding us that when we come together as one Creek, we can make a difference.
