Your ticket supports our 501(c)3 nonprofit’s mission to connect people of all ages, abilities and means to Duxbury Bay. The tax-deductible portion of your ticket ($120) supports these completely free outreach programs:
Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of our 650+ programs, 2.5 acre campus, 275+ boats, 150+ highly trained staff members, and the extraordinary experience that is Duxbury Bay Maritime School. Your support helps make it all possible. Thank you so much for being part of our community!
This year Opening of the Bay Weekend will consist of our Dockside Gala on Friday, May 22nd and Community Day, Saturday, May 23rd.
The Dockside Gala is our biggest fundraising event of the year with a goal of $280,000, that supports our nonprofit and its outreach programming. The event will begin at 6pm with our VIP party, which includes Board Members, Founders and Event Sponsors over $1,000 and will open to all ticket-holders at 7pm. Dine with us this year! From 7-11pm you will enjoy an open bar, live music, loads of food by The Chef's Table including passed appetizers, a robust sushi bar and raw bar, Montilios wood fired pizza, dessert & more! There will be wonderful ways to contribute to our nonprofit with lively fundraising events. The attire is cocktail!
For your convenience, trolley transportation is available. The $25 fee is paid directly to the transportation provider and does not support Duxbury Bay Maritime School’s programs or fundraising efforts. To reserve your spot, please email Meagan Peter at meagan@rockstarlimo.net
Community Day is a free event that supports our mission of Access for All. All are welcome to enjoy food trucks (a portion of proceeds support DBMS!), bouncy houses, a dunk tank, kayaking, boat tours, live music, a raffle and other great activities.
