Maritime Adventures
Since 2000, DBMS has partnered with Crossroads for Kids to offer a tuition-free on-the-water program for at-risk, urban youth. Through maritime activities, campers not only gain new skills but also learn the value of teamwork and a positive attitude in achieving goals—both on and off the water.
Scholarships
Since 1997, DBMS has offered a needs-based scholarship program, making the wonders of Duxbury Bay accessible to children who might otherwise miss out. Through fundraising, DBMS provides financial support to over 1,200 youth and teens annually, ensuring every child has the chance to explore and learn.
ACCESSAIL
ACCESSAIL is an educational and recreational sailing program designed for individuals with varying physical and cognitive abilities. Students connect with the natural environment, experience a sense of freedom, and have fun while navigating challenges. Our program has welcomed individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Paraplegia, Quadriplegia, and many other conditions, offering a unique and empowering experience for all.
Maritime Programs for Veterans
Open to current and former service members, these programs allow our military community to connect with Duxbury Bay. Our current programs include rowing and sailing. These tuition-free courses are great opportunities for our service men and women to exercise and socialize in a controlled environment alongside one another.
