As you know I have proudly worked at The Sharing Center Store since 2013. I have gotten to know many of the families we serve as I help them secure items for their homes like clothes, pots and pans, bedding, furniture, etc. These families are no different from yours and mine...they've just fallen on hard times and they humbly come to us to help them with their basic needs.
Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic has dramatically increased the number of families that need our help. Families that were just barely hanging on before the pandemic are now struggling to feed their families and keep a roof over their heads.
My reason for reaching out to you is because The Sharing Center is currently running its Good Samaritan campaign and our community needs your help. Because of the pandemic we cannot hold an in-person event like we normally do because of the risks of spreading the virus. Instead, we are asking people to get online and make a contribution so that no one in our community goes without essential items like food, clothing, and shelter. Please consider donating and show your love and support for your neighbors in need.
