Youth violence is on the rise in South Florida and I am happy to join Youth for Christ in their efforts to make a difference in the lives of these at-risk youth. YFC has several highly-effective programs, one of which is their Juvenile Justice Ministry that offers detention and after-care mentoring programs at residential and after-care facilities across the city. Their goal is to provide mentors for every youth re-entering the community, as they believe this will help to break the pattern of their destructive behavior and give them hope for a better future.
