I always enjoy giving back to the community whether it be donating my time or a monetary donation. I love adventure and trying new things. Going over the edge is something that I want to do to show both myself and others you can do anything if you put your mind to it and go out of your comfort zone.
It is BBBS’ mission to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. I enjoy mentoring others and have had the opportunity throughout my career. Watching others grow and become the best person they can is very fulfilling. For that reason, I want to support the Big Brother Big Sisters organization by ‘Going over the Edge.’
Some things about me: I've worked for PHEAA now since April 2005, starting in the LGS Call Center. I then worked in the AES Call Center, assisted with the FedLoan Servicing launch as manager of the Command Center, and then moved into the role of vice president.
I love spending time with my family, husband Dave, and sons Aaron and Gavin, both PHEAA Childcare Center grads and recent high school grads who are attending college in the fall. I also have two dogs, Boomer and Skeeter, who are “momma's babies.” I enjoy being outdoors – walking, hiking, playing pickleball, swimming, kayaking, or working in my flower beds.
