I feel incredibly grateful being a part of PHEAA, knowing every day I get to help someone. Even if that is just giving a student enough hope to dream for something they thought was an impossibility. A soaring fire starts as a flicker and hope is the kindling.
When I lived in Colorado Springs, there was an Over the Edge event annually and I always wanted to participate but was unable. When this opportunity presented itself, I didn’t want to miss the chance. BBBS is an amazing organization, and I am happy to support the good work they do!
Some things about me: I joined PHEAA in July 2015 in the State Grant & Special Programs Department. Initially brought on to focus on program integrity, my role has expanded over the years. As Vice President of Program Development, Management, and Operations, my teams are responsible for the administration and operations of 22 programs and almost half a billion dollars in student and institutional funding annually.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family. On most weekends, you can find me trying out new recipes, playing on my Steam Deck, and cuddling with our two rescue cats, Marvin and P-Fluff. When time permits, my husband, Troy and I love to travel anywhere we can scuba dive and enjoy the ocean breeze.
