I have been involved with Our House Grief Support Center for over 15 years, first as a griever, then an Associate Board Leader and then as a Board member. It has been my honor to accompany grievers on their grief journey toward hope and healing. The mission is near and dear to me. Having experienced the death of my parents and grandparents, the goal of no one grieving alone speaks to me. When grief is unsupported, it can lead to physical, emotional and social risks for children, teens and adults. Our House annually provides free or low cost grief support to thousand of grievers who need kindness, support and hope while navigating their grief.

Since 1993,OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center’s mission has been to provide the community with grief supportservices, education, resources, and hope. For three decades, OUR HOUSE has helped tens of thousands of children, teens, and adults in Los Angeles County find healing after the death of someone close. We provide essential grief support that recognizes the universality of grief and normalizes grief
emotions. Our vision is to create a world in which grief is embraced, understood, and respected.
