I am excited to be sponsoring a team to help fund Our House Grief Support agency. I have been on the board, and now the executive board, for 10 years. Every step we take and every dollar we raise helps ensure grieving adults, teens and children have access to support during one of the most difficult times in their lives. 

The 5K Walk & Remember brings together more than 1,500 participants to honor those who have died, celebrate their memories, and raise critical funds that directly sustain these services. It is a meaningful and uplifting morning that reflects the compassion and community spirit we all demonstrate when someone dies. The services Our House provides supports people through the long haul, helping them find the hope they need to move on at their own pace, knowing that their grief will always be with them.

Some background: OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center is a Los Angeles nonprofit that has been serving the community for over 30 years. Our House provides free and low-cost grief support groups, education, and resources to children, teens, and adults who have experienced the death of someone close. Through peer-based support groups offered in English and Spanish, school-based programs, a summer camp for grieving children and their caretakers, and extensive training for professionals, OUR HOUSE ensures that no one has to navigate grief alone. Each year, thousands of individuals find community, stability, and hope through OUR HOUSE.
