Our Kids provides expert medical evaluations and crisis counseling in response to concerns of child sexual abuse. I have been associated with Our Kids for 20 years. Initially as a resident doing a rotation, then as a volunteer and now as a Board Member. Many don't know that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 7 boys will be the victim of sexual abuse. Those numbers are staggering and heartbreaking. Fortunately, Our Kids is a team of experts that care for these children. They are about help, hope and healing. I have seen firsthand the care the staff provides and am happy to support them in any way I can.
