Witnessing first-hand the lives of youth across the Indianapolis area be impacted by Central Indiana Youth for Christ (CIYFC) has made a difference not only in their lives, but also in my own over the past four years. In 2015, CIYFC made the decision to enter into six of the most challenged and defeated areas of Indianapolis that needed immediate and sustained attention. 

The Challenge facing these 8 square miles….

• 595% more likely to be a victim of homicide
• 136 Homicides in 2014
• Homicide is the leading cause of death for 15-24
• 521 victims of shooting (fatal and non-fatal) in 2014
• 119 students were expelled
• Less than 29% graduation rate
• 39 per 1000 teen parents

These are not just statistics these are lives, loved and pursued by God, they matter and therefore we will go.  I hope that you will join me in making a difference in the lives of the youth by sponsoring my leap of faith over the edge in support of CIYFC.
