The Youth Service Bureau of St. Joseph County has teamed up with Over the Edge Global! Funds raised will support YSB's programming for the young people in our community. YSB is the only agency in the region focused specifically on meeting the unique developmental needs of young people who are in crisis. The emergency shelter serves young people ages 12 - 18, along with the Young Mom's program starting at age 16, and Transitional Living programs serving ages 18 - 21. Why I am going Over the Edge
I am participating in this fundraiser to strengthen my ties to the community and forge a healthy relationship between two organizations that affect me at home. The YSB is in the midst of constructing its new headquarters on the East side of South Bend just outside the McKinley Terrace neighborhood. As the Vice President and currently acting President for the McKinley Terrace Neighborhood Association it is my duty to ensure that these two organizations enter into a mutually supportive and beneficial relationship. On behalf of the MTNA and those that benefit from the YSB's programs, thank you!
