I've embarked on a mission to raise funds for Team Dog as part of the Paws vs. Claws event for the Lewis & Clark Humane Society. And guess what? I need your incredible support to make it happen!

My muse for this fundraising adventure is none other than the incredible Miss Lady Bug. The story begins in 2020 when Owen and I took Lady Bug into our home as a foster, initially believing she was pregnant. As it turned out, she was just a little on the chubby side (talk about a surprise twist!), but by then, it was too late – love had struck, and we officially adopted her into our family.

Lady Bug has not only become an integral part of our household, affectionately known as "Owen's girl," but she's also become a shining example of a shelter dog with a purpose. She's taken on the role of an ambassador for the Lewis & Clark Humane Society and its volunteer program, making appearances at schools and events to teach kids how to safely interact with dogs.

Our hearts swell with gratitude for the Lewis & Clark Humane Society, as without them, we might never have crossed paths with our beloved Lady Bug. She's not just a pet; she's family, and we are forever thankful.
