Doing What I Can to Save Them All!
As many of you know, I'm all about the animals. I want one of everything and a 1,000 acres to put them all on. Since that is not possible, I'm doing what I can to help those animals looking for their 4-ever home. One of those ways is doing this Walk a Thon every year I possibly can. If you can find it in your heart...and your pocketbook?...to help me reach my goal...and/or above...it would be GREATLY appreciated?I thank you?and the animals your helping thank you??????
I knew at the age of 14 that I wanted to work with animals in some way, shape or form. I didn't really want to be a veterinarian so I went for the next best thing. I graduated college in 1987 with an Associates as a Certified Veterinary Technician. I cleaned cages at our local vet hospital for almost 7 years, went to college then worked as a CVT for the next 22 yrs at veterinary hospitals in Illinois and Colorado Springs. When I couldn't handle the emotional drain or physical part of the job anymore, I started my own pet sitting business, which I still do to this day. I still want a farm with lots of animals but maybe not one of everything!?I believe it's our job as humans to be the voice of those who can't speak for themselves!
