WHAT IS PAWTOBERFEST?
Join us for Pawtoberfest, a dog-friendly festival featuring craft brews and spirits tasting, pet contests, activities for the whole family, and plenty of tasty food from local food trucks! Pawtoberfest is one of HSPPR's annual signature fundraising events- All proceeds benefit the homeless and abused animals at Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! View last year's photos HERE.
WHEN:
Pawtoberfest will take place Saturday, September 14th, 2024 from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.
WHERE:
This year's Pawtoberfest will be held at an ALL NEW LOCATION - Union Printers Home at Printers Hill located at 101 S Union Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Located right across from Memorial Park in Colorado Springs. We are excited to announce this year's event will be more accessible than ever before. The festival will border a paved road and sidewalk allowing those with strollers, wheelchairs, etc. to join in on the fun! Portable restrooms will be located on site including ADA restrooms. There will be seating in the beer garden and throughout the festival, but feel free to bring a picnic blanket for additional seating on the lawn. The property is a smoke-free zone. For the health and comfort of all our guests, we kindly ask that you refrain from smoking while on the premises.
PARKING:
No more waiting in line for buses! FREE event parking is located at Printers Park Medical Plaza: 175 S Union Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Please remember to lock your vehicle. The parking lot is a short walk (0.4 of a mile) from the event entrance. For everyone's safety, please stay on the designated sidewalks. If parking elsewhere, please make sure to cross streets at designated crosswalks.
DROP OFF & PICK UP:
We highly encourage participants who are partaking in the alcoholic beverage samples to consider getting a ride to and/or from the festival using a buddy or rideshare (i.e. Uber/Lyft/Taxi). All Drop Offs & Pick Ups must happen at the "Event Parking" lot at Printers Park, Medical Plaza, 175 S Union Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. No vehicles are allowed at the entrance of Union Printers Home at Printers Hill. The entrance to Union Printers Home will be fenced off and no vehicles are allowed to stop for any reason or at any time. Thank you for your understanding in keeping our festival a pedestrian only zone and safe!

Each year we design a new, highly sought after Pawtoberfest T-Shirt. Whether this is your first year or you are a long time attendee, don't miss the opportunity to secure your 2024 t-shirt! Reminder, t-shirts are NOT included in the Barks & Brews, Just the Kibble, or Kids ticket price and are available as an additional add-on purchase. 2024 Merch will be available for pickup on Saturday, September 14th at Pawtoberfest. If you can’t attend the festival or forget to fetch your purchase, please stop by HSPPR on Thursday September 19th, from 11am-5pm to pick up. Or coordinate with events@hsppr.org for alternative pickup.
TICKETS:
Pawtoberfest is a ticketed event. Online ticket registration ends on Wednesday, September 11th. Tickets will become available again for purchase online or at the gate on event day (9/14/2024). See ticket pricing and breakdowns below. *Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Please Note: You do not need a physical ticket to get into the event. Attendees will head to the check-in booths upon arrival and be checked in by first and last name. (Don't forget your ID if you are partaking in the alcohol tastings!)
OTHER REMINDERS:
- An ID is REQUIRED for craft beer and spirits tasting
- Please leave aggressive dogs and aggressive behavior at home
- All dogs must remain leashed at all times. Retractable leashes are strongly discouraged. See why HERE
- Outside alcohol or weapons of any kind will NOT be allowed within the festival premises
- To ensure the safety of all attendees, there will be a bag check procedure in place for large bags. Large bags subjected to the bag check would include backpacks, large purses, duffle bags, etc.
*Failure to comply with these rules may result in being denied entry or removal from the event.
