WHAT IS PAWTOBERFEST?

Pawtoberfest is one of Colorado's ONLY dog-friendly festivals, featuring craft brews and spirits tasting, more than 75+ sponsors and pet-friendly vendors, 20+ beverage partners, music, kids zone, pet contests, activities for the whole family, and plenty of scrumptious food from local food trucks! Pawtoberfest is one of HSPPR's annual signature fundraising events- All proceeds benefit the homeless and abused animals at Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region! View last year's photos HERE.

WHEN:

Pawtoberfest will take place Saturday, September 14th, 2024 from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m.

WHERE:

This year's Pawtoberfest will be held at a NEW LOCATION - the property of Printers Hill at 101 S Union Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Located right across from Memorial Park in Colorado Springs. We are excited to announce this year's event will be more accessible than ever before. The festival will border a paved road and sidewalk allowing those with strollers, wheelchairs, etc. to join in on the fun! Portable restrooms will be located on site including ADA restrooms. PARKING:

No more waiting in line for buses! FREE event parking is located at UCHealth Laboratory - Printers Hill (Printers Park, Medical Plaza, 175 S Union Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910). Please remember to lock your vehicle. The parking lot is a short walk from the event entrance. For everyone's safety, please stay on the designated sidewalks. If parking elsewhere, please make sure to cross streets at designated crosswalks. *Parking map will be available soon

T-SHIRTS:

Each year we design a new, highly sought after Pawtoberfest T-Shirt. Whether this is your first year or you are a long time attendee, don't miss the opportunity to secure your 2024 t-shirt! Reminder, t-shirts are NOT included in the ticket price and are available as an additional add-on purchase. To ensure you receive a t-shirt, please purchase before August 13th. 

TICKETS:

Please note, tickets are required to attend this event. Online ticket registration ends 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, September 12th. Tickets will be available at the gate on event day. See ticket pricing and breakdowns below.

OTHER REMINDERS:

  • An ID is REQUIRED for craft beer and spirits tasting
  • Please leave aggressive dogs and aggressive behavior at home
  • All dogs must remain leashed at all times
  • Outside alcohol or weapons of any kind will NOT be allowed within the festival premises
  • To ensure the safety of all attendees, there will be a bag check procedure in place for large bags. Large bags subjected to the back check would include backpacks, large purses, duffle bags, etc.

*Failure to comply with these rules may result in being denied entry or removal from the event.

This EXCLUSIVE ticket Includes: Event t-shirt, all benefits of a Barks & Brews ticket PLUS: a private tent area with seating, private restrooms within VIP area, private tastings of alcohol and nonalcoholic beverages, a buffet of small bites for you and your pooch, and more!

Ages 21 +

JUST THE KIBBLE TICKET

This ticket is great for ages 6-20, non-drinkers, designated drivers, etc!

KIDS PASS

Kids 5 & under are FREE to attend but still required to reserve a Kids Pass. Includes: vendor festival, non-alcoholic tastings. Must be accompanied by an adult with a purchased ticket.

FURRY FRIENDS

Your well-behaved Furry Friends (dogs only) are welcome to attend for free, no ticket required. 

Please make sure your dog is leashed at all times.

Pawtoberfest 2024 Contests

At Pawtoberfest we feature 3 contests for you and your pup to strut your stuff- free of charge! Make sure the Contest Booth is your first stop as spots are limited. The top 3 winners of each contest will take home a prize! This year's contests include:

  • Pooch Smooch
    • Pucker up! The title says it all folks. This fun and adorable contest is where dog owners compete to see who can receive the most affectionate kisses from their furry companions within a specified time limit.
  • Owner/Pet Look-A-Like
    • This contest is where participants and their furry friends dress up in matching outfits or styles, showcasing their uncanny resemblance and bond. #Twinning
  • Best Trick
    • Sit, stay, applause! This contest is where pets show off their most impressive tricks, competing for the title of top trickster!
