The annual Polar Bear Plunge will take place north of the tracks right at Camp Fitch. Plungers will be taking a dive into the chilly wild waters of Lake Erie to raise money to send kids to camp. Last year the Plungers and amazing supporters raised over $160,000 which was enough to give hundreds of children a fun week’s long experience they could not get at home. The Polar Bear Plunge at Camp Fitch will be a lot things — crazy, exhilarating, and a ton of fun — but the primary outcome is to pave the road for kids to get a week-long summer camp experience who face many roadblocks that would otherwise stop them from having this crucial growth experience. There is a full day of fun activities for all ages in addition to the big dip in the lake.
